Riverhead Free Library, established in the 1870s as a subscription library and chartered in 1896 by the state of New York, caters to more than 32,000 residents of the Riverhead Central School District. It provides books and other studying material to readers in Riverhead, Aquebogue, Jamesport, South Jamesport, Northville, Baiting Hollow, Calverton, Flanders and parts of Wading River. In addition, the library collaborates with residents of East Quogue, Eastport/South Manor, Remsenburg/Speonk and East Moriches. Riverhead Free Library's services include Internet instruction classes and inter-library loans.

Pretty nice place, a little loud but overall pretty nice and the staff are friendly, teen area is nice but the downstairs is unfortunately closed

I'm wondering how they intend to re-open the Yellow Book Barn "soon" --- without any books! The explanations that the Riverhead Library gave me when I contacted them made no sense whatsoever....

I went with my gf to do a project that was due we only got around 30 minutes to do it in the website it stated that they where closing at 8:00 they closed around 5:00
