The River Pool at Beacon is a vibrant, circular floating pool with a netted bottom, securely anchored in the Hudson River. Located off the north shore of Pete and Toshi Seeger Riverfront Park in Beacon, NY, this innovative facility allows swimmers to safely sit, float, and play in the river while supervised by on-duty lifeguards.

As a not-for-profit organization, River Pool at Beacon offers free admission to the public, fostering community engagement and enjoyment of the natural environment. The annual Great Newburgh to Beacon Hudson River Swim raises funds to support the maintenance and operation of The River Pool, furthering its mission of promoting recreational access to the river.

Lovely spot run by volunteers for people to cool off and connect with the Hudson. Very safe.

Obvi the riverpool is closed right now but i do hope they bring it back next year. I don't care... I love the Hudson and I gladly swim in it. PCB me or not, I ain't tryna do a body scrub mud mask...
