Dr. Ivancarmine Gambardella is an assistant professor and attending in cardiothoracic surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine – New York Presbyterian Hospital.Since graduating with honors at Federico II medical school in Naples, Italy in 2000, Dr. Gambardella has fervently dedicated his entire professional life to cardiothoracic and vascular surgery in high volume institutions between various European countries (Italy, England, Ireland) and the United States. In addition to the practice of the conventional aspects of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, Dr. Gambardella pursued further expertise in the niches of complex valvular and aortic reconstructions in centers of excellence such as Northwestern Memorial Hospital – Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Baylor College of Medicine – Texas Heart Institute in Houston, and Weill Cornell – NY Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He is a member of professional societies both in the United States (e.g. Society of Thoracic Surgeons) and Europe (e.g. European Association for Cardiothoracic Surgery).

Dr. Mohammed Aslam Khan is a non-invasive cardiologist at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and has been in practice in the Park Slope area since 1996. Dr. Khan received his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, DC. He did his internal medicine training at NYU-Bellevue Hospital and his cardiology fellowship at the Westchester County Medical Center. Dr. Khan specializes in Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, stress testing, preventive cardiology, coronary artery disease, valvular disease, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.

Dr. Pramod Narula earned his M.B.B.S from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. He completed his M.D. at Delhi University.Dr. Narula served as a resident at Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry, Royal Hospital in Chesterfield, and Children’s Hospital in England from 1982 to 1986, and later at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY, from 1987 to 1989. He completed a Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York from 1989 to 1992.Since 2001, Dr. Narula has been the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He has also directed numerous programs and committees to improve pediatric care and medical education. His research has led to significant publications in pediatric pulmonary medicine and critical care.
