Rammohan Gumpeni, MD

Dr. Stephen Karbowitz is a Pulmonary physician practicing with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens and providing inpatient consultation at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. He graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and completed his internal Medicine residency an Pulmonary Disease fellowship at Montifiore Hospital. He is board certified in Pulmonary Diseases and Internal Medicine. His particular interests includes evaluation of dyspnea, evaluation of abnormal chest radiographs, and management of chronic lung disease.

Dr. Pan specializes in treating individuals with pulmonary diseases and critical illnesses. His research is centered on investigating modifiable risk factors and interventions that can prevent the development of critical illness, as well as improve functional outcomes in individuals who have recovered from the intensive care unit (ICU). He applies a wide range of healthcare and clinical data to obtain insights via data science techniques. Additionally, he has received fellowship training in healthcare simulation, which he integrates into patient care, research, and medical education.
