She completed residency in general surgery at Mount Sinai St. Lukes and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. During residency, Dr. Tsang spent two years as a postdoctoral surgical investigator at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, conducting research on gene-targeted therapeutics and drug delivery systems. Also during residency, Dr. Tsang was honored by the nursing staff for providing excellent quality patient care. She is a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
