Dr. Ketan Laud earned his medical degree and completed his ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College. He further refined his expertise through two prestigious fellowships in Retina/Vitreous Surgery at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine and Columbia University/VRMNY, where he was mentored by renowned leaders in the field, Drs. Stanley Chang and Lawrence Yannuzzi. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Laud is dedicated to serving patients both locally on Long Island and out of state. Neil Nichols, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic surgery. He engages in continuous education and professional development to stay up to date on the latest technological advances in all aspects of ophthalmic plastics, Oculofacial, and reconstructive surgery. In addition, Dr. Nichols continues to have clinical and research interests in Cornea and refractive surgery and has helped publish numerous professional research articles in the field of ophthalmology. He has evolved into one of the leading pterygium surgeons in the United States and has partnered with several medical device companies to offer his patients the latest technological advancements in grating materials and techniques.
