History
To start, in Portuguese the word Raizes means Roots, or where you come from. Owner Lucia wants to share her 'roots' with the neighborhood as well as the city by offering all of her favorites stemming from her Azorean Portuguese heritage to her up-bringing in New England.
Specialties
Our house specialty is the Rodizio, which is an all-you-can-eat rotisserie meat buffet. With full service at the tables our servers will provide all of our selections of meats one at a time until you can handle no more! The Rodizio comes with sides of sauteed kale, rice & beans, salad, and potato and is available all day/night for $28. On Tuesdays we offer the full Rodizio for only $20!
