Rainlake was founded in 2001 by President and Executive Producer Kim Connell to bring non-fiction storytelling to the widest audience possible. Kim's inspiration came early. As an eleven-year-old at a lake house in Alabama, she was skipping rocks on the lake when her Grandma said, "Kimberly Faith, you know, every time you throw a rock in the water, the lake gets bigger." Kim was struck by the idea that a little focused energy can have a huge impact on the world. As an adult, she was inspired to create Rainlake and use this simple idea in her business practice. Today Rainlake delivers award-winning programming for networks and corporate clients, employing streamlined crews and efficient post work flow to keep project overhead low and quality high.
