I wish I'd known about the ferry (and free parking at Wilkenson Pointe) years ago. This is the only way to visit Canalside. Unless you'd rather pay more to park in cramped lots near Canalside....

We took our bikes to the outer harbor on the fourth of July, and were glad we did. We rode down to where the ferry docks and took the trip over to Canalside. It's a nice ride, and only a dollar...

I've been waiting to ride the ferry since it opened, and finally got the chance. There was a short wait at the Canalside dock for the ferry to return. The interval seems to be every 20 minutes....

What a fun little feature for the Buffalo Waterfront. This ferry is perfect to get you from the Outer Harbor area to Canalside. and it only cost $1 each way! what a deal!!!
