History

I have been practicing Acupuncture for a total of 6 years and I have had the opportunity to encounter many challenging presentations to the clinic. I received my MSAc (Masters in Acupuncture) from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture where I mastered three styles of Acupuncture which allows for more flexibility with how to approach a patients illness as opposed to one style that may or may not work for that individual. My approach is personal yet affirmative so the patient can feel a sense of ease yet feel assured that there is a treatment strategy to address their signs and symptoms. The treatment lasts up to an hour and up to a half hour is it is an herbs only patient. I've been treating Parkinson's Disease, Scoliosis, Chronic/ Acute Low Back Pain, Neck Pain, Joint Pain, Muscle Pain, Digestive Disorders, Painful Menstruation, Painful Urination, Edema, Cardiovascular Issues, Stress, Anxiety, and Bell's Palsy to name a few.

Specialties

I am a licensed acupuncturist and I treat a variety of Western medical diagnosis including those that may have been dismissed as not treatable or the initial diagnosis found no treatable symptoms. I use extremely thin needles that feel like a quick pinch. I am trained and skilled in gua sha, cupping, moxabustion, auricular and other acupuncture and massage techniques that will benefit the patient if there is a fear of needles. I focus on three styles of acupuncture; Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Kiiko Matsumoto (KM), and Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM). I am also trained in Tui Na Massage (medical massage) and Qi Gong. Herbs are and can be a separate treatment to those who have not met their health and wellness goals with acupuncture. I take Blue Cross Blue Shield (not Illinois), Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, GHI. I can not take Medicaid. Medicare only under Blue Cross Blue Shield. I have been treating Migraine Headache, Chronic Back Pain, Men's and Women's issues, immunity. Please email
