Integrity Senior Services

Our staff includes licensed social workers, psychologists, and clinical nurse specialists. We provide counseling and auxiliary services to seniors, the disabled, caregivers, and their families. ISS is committed to helping our clients develop the coping skills necessary to function at one's maximum ability by providing in-home counseling services. Through therapy, our counselors help clients find renewed enjoyment in life and increased emotional well-being. Counseling may also ameliorate the behavioral problems that come with chronic ailments, such as Alzheimer's disease. By addressing the mental health needs of seniors, the disabled, and caregivers, counseling can help lessen the frequency of hospitalization and enhance one's social life. ISS provides services for clients wherever they live. We travel to private homes and other residences such as assisted living centers, adult residences, and nursing homes making it possible for seniors to remain in their own homes for longer. Integrity Senior Services is a growing organization. We currently serve clients in Staten Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. About the Founder Claudette Duff, ATR, LCSW, founded ISS on the principle that everyone should receive the mental health care they need. While working as Team Leader for a program for older adults with chronic mental illness, Ms. Duff recognized a profound lack of mental health services for the elderly and disabled. With few options for in-home counseling, too many older adults and disabled persons go without vital mental health care. As an answer to this problem, Ms. Duff established ISS with a commitment to offering in-home counseling services. Today, ISS is comprised of many licensed social workers, psychologists, and clinical nurse specialists who go wherever their clients live. These professionals specialize in working with older adults, caregivers, and the disabled. ISS continues to emphasize the importance of in-home counseling and the specific needs of the aging population. In addition to her work at ISS, Ms. Duff is also a member of the New York Society for Clinical Social Workers, the Staten Island Inter Agency Council for Aging, the Alzheimer's Foundation of Staten Island, and the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce.
