Public School 21

School 21 is an educational facility that serves more than 400 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school s curriculum includes reading, writing, English, math, social studies, science, and fine and performing arts. In addition, it has a library that houses a range of books and study materials. School 21 administers the Title I program. The school operates a parent-teacher association that offers volunteer support and conducts meetings and conferences. Its campus features a cafeteria and auditorium. School 21 also provides special education classes for gifted and talented students. The school operates a student government organization and is a part of Yonkers Public Schools, which was started in 1881.
