History

Prooffix is a startup that launched in October 2014 by two Duke alums. While in business school, one of these founders searched for an easy proofreading solution that was both reliable and affordable. He found only very expensive options with long turnaround times or automated services that lacked the human touch. The other co-founder happened to be an English guru with a knack for proofreading. By combining forces, Prooffix now enables students, academics, and businesses to improve their writing quickly and easily!
