History

The idea was born when Sabrina met the love of her life, and he finally proposed. Next came what most brides see when they go looking for a wedding dress: over-priced designs that only sort of work. Sabrina refused to settle, and took advantage of a planned visit to Shanghai. She bought two wedding dresses from a boutique in the trendy JinAnShi district, designed to her own taste, tailored to her own figure, at a quality of materials and stitching that satisfied her own stringent standards, and not to forget - at a very satisfactory price. On the way back, an exciting thought occurred to her: why should I keep this to myself? She told her story to her friends, and soon starting to help them select dresses from other bridal stores or make their own. After gaining experience in an activity that she found to be so rewarding, and seeing the needs of many brides to be, she joined forces with a friend to share the joy with others. And so, Pret A Marier was born.
