Dr Saliby started her medical studies at The Lebanese University then The American University of Beirut. She then pursued a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Baylor College of Medicine where she focused her research on familial thyroid cancer at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She also trained in Internal Medicine at UT-Houston Medical Center and at Weill Cornell-New York Presbyterian Internal Medicine programs, following which she became certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine and a Diplomate in Endocrinology, Diabetes and metabolism.She joined Beth Israel Medical Center and the Albert Einstein Faculty in 2003 where she practiced and actively participated in the teaching of residents and fellows until 2016. During her career at Beth Israel, she conducted several clinical trials in diabetes and heart disease and diabetes and obesity. She also had a busy clinic for thyroid cancer at New York Eye and Ear, treating for 11 years over 400 patients. Dr Saliby joined the Weill Cornell faculty and New York Presbyterian Hospitals in July 2016. She serves as the Director of the Endocrinology Services at the Lower Manhattan Campus and sees patients in both the Lower Manhattan and the Upper East Side offices.Her interests remain in thyroid disease and thyroid cancer in particular, as well as in Diabetes and Metabolic diseases.

Dr. Andrew Tassler serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Tassler’s expertise lies in the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck, including salivary glands, thyroid and parathyroid, tongue, lips and oral cavity, larynx, pharynx, sinuses, skull base and skin.Dr. Tassler was born and raised in Washington, DC. He attended Amherst College and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Political Science. He then received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in General Surgery at New York Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center followed by residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Georgetown University Hospital. While at Georgetown, he received the Hugh O. DeFries Award for Lifetime Learning. After residency, Dr. Tassler completed a fellowship in Advanced Oncologic Head and Neck Surgery and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining the faculty at Weill Cornell, Dr. Tassler practiced for five years at Montefiore Medical Center where he was Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Tassler has been awarded for resident teaching at both Montefiore and Weill Cornell Medical Center. He has been selected as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor every year since 2017 and a New York Super Doctor every year since 2022.Dr. Tassler is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, the American Head and Neck Society, the New York Head and Neck Society, and the North American Skull Base Society. He is also an active fellow of the American College of Surgeons.Dr. Tassler has a particular interest in minimally invasive techniques in head and neck surgery including transoral laser (TLM) and robotic surgery (TORS) as well as endoscopic skull base surgery but practices the full scope of head and neck surgery.
