What a great park! There's shade from the surrounding trees. Also, there are round picnic tables. There is no shade at the picnic table area but I did see people bring their own tent to shade...

The Outdoor Club of Port Jervis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting outdoor activities and stewardship within the Port Jervis area. Established in 2016, the club operates entirely through volunteer efforts and has successfully developed nearly 50 miles of hiking and biking trails, as well as one of the largest pump tracks on the East Coast.
In addition to trail development, the club actively supports conservation initiatives, such as the Save Orange County's Last Wilderness project, aimed at preserving vital land and water resources in the Delaware River watershed. Free, very nice, paved pump track for riding bikes. There are actually 2 tracks- one for novice and one for more experienced. Nice group of people hang around it/support it. Small skate park next...
