While it's hard to call it a beach without some imagination, it is still one of the best places to hang out if you want views of the city AND some quite escape from the urban bustle.

Nothing crazy! I wouldn't call that beach just because there is some sand on the floor. The water is so dirty that you can't even go in it. View is definitely amazing and the place is relaxing!

Cute beach, excellent view. But my legs started to get really itchy as soon as I went in the water. It is the East River after all... yuck.

"Beach" May be a little generous since it's not very big and no swimming allowed but the entire park stretch from pier 1 to pier 6 is amazing
