Petisa Spa started as a modest home-grown business by its founder, Nency Blanco. She created Petisa in 1999 after completing her dog grooming certification. Her fondness for dogs and nurturing personality were evident early on by her clients. But what set her apart was her unique combination of customer service and skill as a dog groomer. In 2013, Nency took the leap to open Petisa Spa as a way to better suit her clients' needs. Nency is known throughout the Jackson Heights community as the preeminent dog groomer with clients across New York City and the greater tri-state area.
