Founded in 1963, Foundation for Contemporary exhibitions and sales of works donated by the visual artists. Based in New York, N.Y. the foundation offers nonrestrictive grants to individuals working in performance art, music/sound and the visual art. It supports its grant programs through the sale of artists' works and through direct financial contributions.
