He is also a member of the Eye Trauma Service of New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where he trains residents and fellows in the latest techniques of vitreous and retina surgery.Dr. Pollack is among the first ophthalmologists in New York City to implement and teach 25-gauge or small incision vitreoretinal surgery for complex retinal detachments.
