The Park Church Co-op, formerly known as the English Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Messiah, is a historical building located on the west side of McGolrick Park in Brooklyn, NY. Established in 1899 by Samuel Trexler, this church has been a part of the community for over a century.
In 2014, Pastor Kienzle took on the task of revitalizing the congregation and renamed the church to The Park Church Co-op. Despite initial challenges, the church evolved into a space that fosters creativity and community engagement.
The Park Church Co-op serves as a gathering place for individuals and organizations dedicated to serving their neighbors. Hosting events such as weddings, concerts, and community meetings, the church continues to be a hub for community activities and support.
