History

OurHarvest was founded in April 2014 by Michael Winik and Scott Reich, former elementary school classmates and college roommates. Winik serves on the board of IAHD, and is a graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, having received a B.S. in Finance and Management. He also earned a B.A. in Political Science at Penn. Reich serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations, and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a B.A. in History and Communication. He later received a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, as president of his class. Both founders have a strong passion for healthy, delicious food, and helping those in need.

Farmers market grocery delivery is available in select areas including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Port Washington, Hicksville, Roslyn Heights, Huntington, New Hyde Park, East Meadow, Woodbury, Merrick, Garden City, Greenvale, Fresh Meadows, Syosset, Babylon, Oyster Bay, Valley Stream, Forest Hills, and Bayside. Farmers market pick-up times are available in several locations and times during the week in Manhattan, Nassau County, Queens County, and Suffolk County.
