Award Winning Custom Tattoos Origins In Ink is an award winning tattoo shop located at 903 N. Main St in North Syracuse, NY. Its mission, to keep the drama in the imagery and out of the shop. Its success is greatly due in part to the handful of loyal returning clientele bringing friends and family who appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and artistic integrity. Owner Kevin Hewitt has been tattooing in the Syracuse area for over 10 years, in addition to studying art and illustration in college. We are here to satisfy and create all of your custom body art needs. Walk-ins are welcome, but most work is done by appointment. We recommend a consultation for most pieces, and require one for anything custom. No appointments are made over the internet, but feel free to contact us with any questions, comments or concerns!

I've had work done by Dale and Kevin. Both are super talented artist! They do occasionally have walk-ins but if you want a tattoo by Kevin, you will need an appointment. I've now had 12 tattoos...

Great artists who take their time and also let you have a break if you need it! The detail that they put into their work is extraordinary. I drive 2 hours just to have them do my tattoos!

I did a walk-in and it was my first tattoo and Joe did a fantastic job. It healed perfectly and I get numerous compliments. I was very skeptical but they eased my worries and did a great job....
