Rich Bauman (Optician) teamed up with Dr. Joseph Schneider (Optometrist) to build OPTICS PLUS into one of the premier optical providers on Long Island. Dr. Schneider's retired in 1992 and since then Mr. Bauman has continued on with the company's promise of delivering outstanding service and quality to all of our friends.

We can fill your prescriptions OR do complete eye examinations and expert contact lens fitting is a specialty of our two optometrists. And consultations are always FREE. We are happy to answer any of your questions, and all are welcome to come in and try on new eyeglass and sunglass styles.

Do not go to this store. They over charge, they are not honest, they tell you they are giving a discount but in fact mark up their glasses to a ridiculous amount and then tell you it's discounted....
