Barrett owns and operates a large number of specialized grading and utilities equipment, including: bulldozers, excavators, loaders, motograders, pans and back-dumps.Our engineers analyze soil samples, and make the most economical recommendations for additives such as Portland cement, sand, or quicklime. If necessary, we can replace unsuitable areas with imported materials from our nearby borrow pits of gravel, sand, crushed stone and more.Underground ConstructionOur excellent leadership coupled with the invaluable experience of our foremen and crews enables us to lay any type of pipe from 3/4-inch copper to 108-inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP). Our crews are also experts at operating in urban environments with heavy-traffic flows.Our Utilities services seamlessly integrate with our Grading and Paving services, allowing us to deliver fast-track projects with unparalleled speed or to coordinate effectively on complicated Design/Build projects.
