Moore Houses is named after E. Roberts Moore (1894-1952), Pastor of Old St. Peters Church - the oldest Catholic Church in the City. Monsignor Moore was a member of the first NYCHA Board. Moore Houses consists of two, 20-story buildings with 463 apartments. Completed March 31, 1964, 2.69-acres.
