Finally, no long line today. Heavy rain showers had just subsided. 4 people ahead of me. Dosa Man makes everything as you order so thats why the line is long. I still ended up waiting a good 20...

5 years later -- still the exact same quality and taste. Got lucky to join the line a few mins after he opened and only had to wait 20 min. Truly one of NYC's best eats.
