HistoryI hold a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercy College and a Bachelor of Science from Columbia University. Training to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist involves a series of supervised clinical experiences. I am incredibly grateful for all of these clinical training experiences, as they have sculpted me further as a therapist. Through my rigorous clinical training as well as my professional work as a staff clinician in various Manhattan mental health outpatient settings, I have learned to look at an individual in context to his/her whole system--internal, interpersonal, familial, social, cultural and environmental. I believe a person brings the entirety of his/her experience into treatment and the work will acknowledge these multi-faceted systems, which are constantly at play.SpecialtiesI am a psychotherapist who helps individuals and couples who are experiencing arduous circumstances--such as relationship stress, family strain, career frustrations, worry, life transitions and times of crisis--live their most meaningful life.
