Nice lakeside campsite about 4-5 hours north of NYC. Sites are about $27 a night as of July 2025. Dog friendly and sites near 89-90 has direct water access. Minus one star due to mosquitos.

Very large campground and lots of trees--the sites all were covered. A TON of mosquitoes but it also did rain everyday. The bathrooms are a hot mess and dark (at least by campsites 1-30) and the...

I have visited this beach site twice. The view and location is amazing (great for walking around). The beach is so-so. I didn't trust the waters enough to swim in it.
