The Manhattan Psychiatric Center offers crisis intervention, monitoring, case management and substance abuse counseling services. It provides intensive case management, 24-hour emergency and transitional residence solutions. The center also offers anger management services, as well as features a treatment refractory ward. The Manhattan Psychiatric Center is a part of the Office of Mental Health, which regulates, certifies and oversees more than 2,500 health care programs that are operated by local government and nonprofit agencies.
