History

My wife Sandy and I started Nichols Electrical Contracting in September of 1984. We have been in business now for 28 years. I started my electrical career in high school with the Monroe #1 BOCES Electrical program. Then I was hired in Rochester at the local union 86 program. That was a 5 year of apprenticeship with 4 years of night school. I have my masters license with the City of Rochester. Nichols Electrical experts in all types of residential wiring. Over the years we have had many employees, with as many as 11 at one time. We have a very good reputation in the new homes area. My son, Steven, now works with me full time. He is 21 years old, and has been helping on jobs in some capacity since the age of 10. His work experiences and ability are equivalent to a Residential Journeyman.
