New York Safety and Training

History

The mission of New York Safety and Training is to impact lives and enrich our community through affordable safety training, planning, and inspections and to become the premier authority on occupational safety within New York's five boroughs and beyond. The founder of New York Safety and Training is a U.S. Navy veteran with a strong affinity for service. As such, we pursue relationships with Not-For-Profit organizations to help serve our communities and to provide safety training to at-risk and under-served populations; we also offer discount pricing to all military veterans with an eye toward aiding returning veterans more smoothly transition to civilian employment. We foster a corporate climate of inclusion and respect towards all of our students, clients, and associates, from all walks of life. We adhere to the tenet that there is dignity in every job, and our aim is to help make every job safe through education, planning, and inspections.

New York Safety and Training is a veteran-owned business offering safety training, planning, and inspections throughout the tri-state area and beyond. NYST offers regular safety classes throughout NYC at four locations: Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Harlem. Some of NYST's classes include: OSHA 10 and 30 Construction OSHA 10 General Industry OSHA Flagger: Construction Site Traffic Safety Manager NYC DOB 4-hour Supported Scaffold User OSHA Permit-Required Confined Space Awareness NYST is an IACET authorized provider and is authorized by the NYC DOB to provide DOB-certified Scaffold and Site Safety classes.
