Nature View Park is a 1,254-acre park located in Amherst, NY, offering a vast expanse of forests, wetlands, and meadows. It was saved from development through a grassroots effort involving dedicated residents, public hearings, and bipartisan support from elected officials. With its numerous walking trails, Nature View Park provides an easy hiking experience for visitors, making it the largest undeveloped green space in Amherst.
The Western New York Land Conservancy, an accredited regional not-for-profit 501(c)(3) land trust, holds a conservation easement for Nature View Park. Love this place, hidden gem! It's beautiful, never busy, you can walk along water, lots of woods, good place to take your dog. You'll likely see beaver trees. Have fun.

This park could be so much better than it is. It has some water running through it which attracts certain wildlife you wouldn't otherwise see. There is also a fair amount of plant diversity. Why...
