National Cargo Bureau Inc

The National Cargo Bureau is a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to the United States Coast Guard. It issues certificates and survey reports under the provisions of the Dangerous Cargo Act and Bulk Grain Cargo. The organization offers inspection services for bulk cargoes, barges, containers, ships, railroad cars and equipment. The National Cargo Bureau also provides loading and discharging, cleaning and storage services. It serves government agencies, ship operators and insurance companies. The organization conducts vessel safety inspections and import and export automobile surveys. It witnesses tests and provides the certification of shipboard cargo gears. The National Cargo Bureau conducts training sessions for the transportation of hazardous materials and additionally offers containerization and segregation courses.
