Nasser Ayyad, D.O.

Dr. Jeff Lin received his college and medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, underwent residency training at NewYork-Presybterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical College here in New York, and then completed gynecologic oncology fellowship training at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh.After training, Dr. Lin entered private practice in the Silicon Valley (even participated in an early-stage biotech start-up!). He then returned to academia at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Southern California, honing and expanding hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) techniques and surgical approaches, and he is now returning to Weill Cornell Medicine. At Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Lin aims to bring his expertise in avant garde surgical techniques and treatment options, such HIPEC, to serve the patients at Cornell. His clinical interests include novel surgical techniques, patient-centered care, and clinical outcomes research.Dr. Lin is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.

Dr. Eilon Ram is a cardiac surgeon in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Attending Cardiothoracic Surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.Dr. Ram earned his medical degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, and completed both his residency and fellowship in cardiac surgery at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel. He further specialized in cardiothoracic surgery through a fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine, with advanced training focused on aortic surgery. This training has equipped Dr. Ram with the expertise to manage complex cardiac cases, particularly those involving the aorta.In addition to his specialization in aortic surgery, Dr. Ram has a broad range of expertise across various aspects of cardiac surgery. His experience includes coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), aortic, mitral and tricuspid valve repair and replacement, surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation (MAZE), cardiac tumor resections, and the management of aortic aneurysms and dissections. He is also skilled in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, offering patients advanced surgical options with reduced recovery times.Dr. Ram is deeply committed to patient care and medical education. He has played a significant role in training the next generation of cardiothoracic surgeons, mentoring medical students and residents. His extensive research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at numerous regional, national, and international conferences.Dr. Ram is married to Shahar, and together they have three children: Nafti, Yuli, and Dori.

Marina J. Corines, M.D. is a Board Certified radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus. She also serves as Associate Program Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency, Associate Program Director of the Breast Imaging Fellowship Training Program, and Associate Chair for Community Outreach in the Department of Radiology.Dr. Corines graduated from Vanderbilt University where she earned her B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology in 2012. She then received her M.D. at New York Medical College, School of Medicine in 2018, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society.Following an internship in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC from 2018 to 2019, Dr. Corines completed residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center from 2019 to 2023, during which she was elected and served as Chief Resident. She received the Robert D. Zimmerman, MD award in 2022 as well as the Distinguished Housestaff and Alexander R. Margulis, MD, DSc awards in 2023. She then completed a fellowship in Breast and Body Imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from 2023 to 2024. Dr. Corines joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in September 2024 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology.Dr. Corines’s clinical expertise is in Breast Imaging. She interprets a variety of imaging studies, including mammography (2D, digital breast tomosynthesis, and contrast-enhanced mammography), breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. She performs image-guided breast interventional procedures including stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies as well as pre-operative radioactive seed localizations.Dr. Corines is actively involved in community outreach and engagement efforts within the WCM and greater NYC communities. Her research interests include contrast-enhanced mammography, breast MRI, and artificial intelligence/radiomics. She is a member of several radiological and breast imaging societies.
