Established in 1981, the Morris Heights Health Center is one of the leading nonprofit health care facilities with a location in Bronx, N.Y. The center offers gynecological, dental, reproductive and contraceptive care services, as well as testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases and infertility screening services. Its Women's Health & Birthing Pavilion facility, certified by the National Association of Childbearing Centers, provides a range of health and education services, including prenatal care and labor and delivery. The center s urgent care unit provides emergency medical care services for sudden illness, pain, accidents and injuries. It partners with various schools and districts in the community to provide on-site access to health care services.
