CONCERNING STEROID INJECTIONS LINKED TO MENINGITIS REST ASSURED: The medication Dr. Shen has been using for his injections at both St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam and Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville is Celestone. The medication which is being recalled is SoluMedrol. Ellis Hospital in Schenectady informed us that they do not use the company that issued the recall. Saratoga Hospital informed us that they do not use SoluMedrol. Additionally, the DepoMedrol we use for joint injections in the office is not from the vendor who issued the recall.
