History

I started out by working as a volunteer attorney with various pro bono programs in New York City, including Access to Justice (handling in-court landlord-tenant and consumer debt cases, and performing consultations in family law) and the Volunteer Foreclosure Project sponsored by the Queens County Bar Association (which focuses on foreclosure settlement conferences). I gained valuable experience from these programs and started handling cases on my own in 2010, starting with landlord-tenant and consumer debt cases. I am also a court appointed GAL, and have been appointed several GAL cases in the boroughs. My practice then progressed into some family law matters, foreclosure defense matters, and Article 81 guardianship matters for adults. In addition, I've handled a few criminal defense cases. Over the past couple of years, I have worked with other attorneys on federal cases, focusing on prisoner litigation, with the objective of expanding my practice further.
