Minisink Valley Schools

Minisink Valley Middle School offers educational instruction to students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,100 students and is part of the Minisink Valley Central School District. It is divided into nine teams, three at each grade level. It offers educational programs in English and language arts, physical education, art, technology education, computer technology, foreign language, health education, math, science and social studies. It also provides special education services in self-contained and inclusion classrooms. Its general music course features examples and information on the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, classical, romantic and 20th century. The school provides various academic extracurricular activities, such as junior math team and Odyssey of the Mind. It also provides filtered Internet access in each classroom. Minisink Valley Middle School is located in Middletown, N.Y.
