History

MidWest Spine Cor Center is a partnership of Chiropractors headed by Dr. Marc Lamantia and Dr. Gary Deutchman. Dr. Deutchman began treating scoliosis in his NYC office (Scoliosis Systems) 16 years ago. In 2004, he began collaborating with Dr. Lamantia who brought new procedures and expertise in neurologically based postural reeducation techniques to the program.

Specialties

A comprehensive approach for non-surgical treatment of scoliosis that combines the use of specific scoliosis exercises called the Schroth Method with a unique dynamic tension scoliosis brace called Spine Cor. Our Corrective Movement scoliosis therapy approach is well documented in the scientific literature to not only provide relief of scoliosis symptoms but also help correct a crooked spine. Although most physical therapy for scoliosis utilizes non-specific bilateral scoliosis exercise that can worsen your spinal scoliosis curvatures by unknowingly re-enforcing the abnormal curve pattern, our scoliosis treatment programs and specific scoliosis exercise programs are designed to correct the underlying causes of scoliosis by unwind the spine in the right direction. We provide treatment for both scoliosis in adults and scoliosis in children.
