Family experiences with long term care issues drove home the importance of early planning. Her awareness of long term care came after her then-98-year-old mother was placed in a Nursing Home, and she experienced firsthand the financial and emotional burden that many families live through. Michelle and her husband Len live in Bedford, NY and have two adult children. Michelle is one of Genworth Financial's Long Term Care Insurance Division's top Agents and has earned the company's highest sales award, now called the Platinum Award, for the past five years.
