Dr. DiLorenzo is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He specializes in non-invasive imaging within the division of Pediatric Cardiology. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and his medical degree from New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, NY prior to completing his pediatric cardiology fellowship and subspecialty training in non-invasive imaging at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. During that time, he received a T32 research training grant and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology (MSCE) at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. DiLorenzo specializes in non-invasive imaging, including cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. He is also co-director of the Pediatric Comprehensive Marfan Clinic. His research interests include non-invasive markers of right ventricular structure and function in patients with congenital heart disease.

Dr. Spector's clinical practice is focused on the management of pediatric patients with a range of liver diseases including neonatal cholestasis, biliary atresia, rare metabolic diseases, viral hepatitis, liver tumors including hepatoblastoma, and autoimmune liver disease. She has completed advanced training in the management of pediatric liver and intestinal failure and is experienced in caring for patients both prior to and after undergoing liver, intestinal and multi-visceral transplants. Dr. Spector performs several procedures including percutaneous liver biopsy, endoscopy, variceal band-ligation and colonoscopy. While caring for patients, she aims to educate both her patients and their families as they work together toward shared decision-making and optimal treatment outcomes. Dr. Spector's research interests include patient safety, quality improvement and assurance, as well as epidemiology and outcomes of pediatric liver diseases and transplant. During her time as a Patient Safety Research Fellow, she focused on utilizing health information technology to prevent medical errors and improve the quality and efficiency with which patient care is delivered. She continues this work as part of the Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program (ECRIP).
Minyoung Jang, MD

Minyoung Jang, MD

Minyoung Jang, MD is a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist at New York-Presbyterian/ Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. She treats the entire spectrum of ear, nose/sinus, and throat disorders in children of all ages. Her special interests include the management of pediatric airway and voice disorders, hearing loss, and neck masses including salivary, thyroid and vascular anomalies. Dr. Jang received her bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. During medical school, she was selected to perform translational research at the National Institutes of Health through the Medical Scholars Research Program. She subsequently completed her residency training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Boston University’s Boston Medical Center, and her fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Jang is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is Board Certified in Otolaryngology. She is the author or co-author of several journal articles and textbook chapters, and regularly presents her research at national meetings. She believes that every child is unique, and enjoys working with families to provide the best possible care that is right for them.
