History

As a social worker and estate attorney, I have an understanding of the sensitive issues involved in estate planning, and in handling the affairs of a loved one who has passed away. My estate work includes probating wills, estate administration, discovery proceedings, accountings, judicial settlements, and the preparation of Federal and New York estate tax returns, and income tax returns for decedents and estates. I also work with clients to develop personal estate plans, including the preparation of Wills, powers of attorney, and health care proxies. As a social security disability attorney, I advocate for my clients to obtain the benefits they need and deserve. I have a particular interest in helping both adults and children with mental health diagnoses, as I have worked extensively with these individuals in both the social work and legal fields. Throughout my career I have had a passion for advocating for those with disabilities, both in and out of the courtroom.
