Her work has been presented at multiple national and international meetings including American Heart Association, Heart Failure Society of America, International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, and European Mechanical Circulatory Support Summit. She serves as an ad hoc reviewer on multiple journals and has contributed to guidelines on treatment and management of patients with cardiac assist devices.Dr. Yuzefpolskaya joined the Faculty at the Center for Advanced Cardiac Care in 2011, and was named the Associate Medical Director of the Mechanical Circulatory Support/LVAD Program at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center in 2014. Dr. Nalbandian joined as faculty in the Division of Cardiology in August 2024, where she attends primarily as a cardiac intensivist, and also has a general outpatient clinical practice. She was recently awarded the 1st Annual Transthyretin Amyloidosis (ATTR) Young Investigator Research Award by the American Academy of CME, Cornerstone Medical Education, granting her the ability to continue her clinical research within this field of interest. In addition, Dr. Nalbandian aspires to help develop a longitudinal multi-disciplinary care clinic for patients post critical illness, serving both clinical and research needs of this growing patient population.
