Albert M. Harary, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist and internal medicine physician, practicing on Manhattans Upper East Side since 1984. Dr. Harary is located in the Park 55 Building and offers a wide range of advanced diagnostic and treatment services to residents of New York City and Tri-state area.Dr. Harary is listed as a Top Doctor by the Castle Connolly Guide. He is also a part of the medical staff at both Lenox Hill Hospital and New York University Langone Medical Center, and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. In addition to his private practice work, Dr. Harary is a clinical assistant professor at New York University School of Medicine and serves as the director of the GI motility unit at Lenox Hill Hospital.Focused on staying up to date with the latest endoscopic techniques for treating a variety of conditions, Dr. Harary has a special interest in esophageal and gastrointestinal motility disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disease. He completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine and his fellowship training in gastroenterology at the University of Miami Affiliated Hospitals.
