Maria Grigovich, M.D. is a fellowship-trained radiologist with specialization in Abdominal Imaging. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine.Dr. Grigovich graduated from I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University in Moscow, Russia where she earned her M.D. with Honors in 2012. After completing a Radiology residency in Russia in 2014, Dr. Grigovich relocated to the United States. Following an internship in Internal Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, she completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA in 2022 where she served as a chief resident and earned the RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award.Dr. Grigovich completed a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine in 2023. She joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in August 2023 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology and a member of the Body Imaging Division.Dr. Grigovich has clinical expertise in abdominopelvic imaging. She interprets CT, MRI, radiography, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy studies of the abdomen and pelvis, as well as PET/CT and PET/MRI imaging.Her clinical and research interests include advanced liver imaging, gynecologic imaging, and sonography, including contrast-enhanced ultrasound.Dr. Grigovich is actively involved in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students.

Dr. Kimberley Chien is an associate professor of clinical pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and associate attending pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian Komansky Children’s Hospital at Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she also serves as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Specialty Practice. Dr. Chien is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. After receiving a B.S. in Neuroscience at Tufts University, Dr. Chien earned her medical degree at SUNY-Downstate Medical College of Brooklyn. She completed her pediatric internship and residency training at NYU School of Medicine and attended NYP Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center to complete fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. While Dr. Chien cares for a variety of patients with various gastrointestinal disorders, her clinical expertise focuses on transitional care of inflammatory bowel disease patients and other chronic gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Chien has also developed and oversees the Weill Cornell Medicine Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Transition Program and research registry, an initiative to understand and optimize the health and well-being of all adolescent Inflammatory Bowel Disease patients at Weill Cornell Medicine. She works closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes a nutritionist, patient navigator, social worker, psychologist as well and other pediatric subspecialists to ensure excellent patient care and comprehensive treatment of difficult and complex gastrointestinal disorders. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Chien has a strong interest and expertise in clinical research to improve pediatric gastrointestinal patients’ outcomes and quality of life. She also engages in regional and national clinical and research initiatives to improve physician wellness. Throughout her career, Dr. Chien has remained engaged in medical education at various levels, teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.

Marc Schiffman, M.D.

Dr. Marc H. Schiffman is Assistant Professor of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus. He is a member of the Division of Interventional Radiology and performs a wide array of interventional radiology procedures.Dr. Schiffman earned his B.S. degree from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY in 1997. He was awarded his M.D. degree, in 2003 from the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. He received a commendation for top clinical performance and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.After a year (2003-2004) as an intern New York Hospital-Queens in Flushing, NY, Dr. Schiffman completed his radiology residency training (2004-2008) in Diagnostic Radiology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, NY. This was followed by a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology, also at Mount Sinai, from 2008 to 2009.Dr. Schiffman achieved Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology in 2008. Dr. Schiffman was then recruited to the full-time faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College-NYPH in July 2009. He has performed the first adrenal radiofrequency ablation, liver, kidney and bone microwave ablations, balloon retrograde transvenous variceal obliteration, and laparoscopic renal cancer cryosurgery at New York Hospital. He has successfully completed the world's first pediatric percutaneous construction of an absent Inferior Vena Cava. Dr. Schiffman has been invited to speak about renal cancer cryosurgery, uterine fibroid and varicocele embolization at National and International medical conferences. He is currently the Executive Co-Director of the Weill Cornell Medicine Fibroid and Adenomyosis Program and is the only physician in the Tri-state region performing noninvasive MR-guided focused ultrasound surgery for uterine fibroids and adenomyosis.
