Maria Chavez aka Mama Chavez was born in the small town of San Nicolas de los Augustos in Guanajuato, Mexico. She is one of twelve children born to Trinidad and Dolores Garcia Muniz. As you can imagine with that many siblings, Maria was always in the kitchen helping her mother prepare meals. That is where her love and passion for sharing her creations began. In June 2019 Maria retired early from her job to fulfill her lifelong dream of owning her own taqueria. Fulfilling this dream could not be possible without the loving support of her husband, Jose Sr. and their children, Jose Jr., Armando and Emily.

Food is always made fresh. Family owned and the service is great. It's a must try for authentic foodie. I have had the pleasure of going several times and every order has been perfect.
