The John Cardinal O'Connor School is dedicated to providing the benefits of a Catholic education to children with learning differences. The school empowers children to thrive academically, spiritually, emotionally and socially in our supportive school community. Children of all faiths are welcome. Located in Irvington, New York, JCOS is a Catholic school that specializes in giving its students a world-class learning experience backed by a skilled teaching staff. Our instructors are highly adept in special education programs and applications, including Orton-Gillingham Methodology such as Preventing Academic Failure (PAF), and the Judith Hochman Writing Method.

Irvington High School is a part of the Irvington Union Free School District, which has been operational for more than 150 years. Located in Irvington, N.Y., the school offers academic classes in a variety of subjects, such as English, fine arts, math, science, social studies, world languages, and health and physical education. In addition, it provides classes in photography, algebra, biology and earth science. Irvington High School operates Latin, key, science and recycling clubs. It also undertakes activities related to the Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity. It also maintains a student council that communicates with parents, teachers and administrators regarding student issues and needs. Irvington High School has an annual enrollment of over 600 students in grades 9 through 12.

Irvington Middle School provides education to students in grades six through eight. The various subjects offered by the school s curriculum include math, English, science, social studies, language arts and physical education. It organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, including art and craft, science fairs, photography and poster contests, fun nights and field trips. It has a library and cafeteria for the students. The school provides transportation and health screening services to students. It has a student council and parent-teacher association. It also organizes a variety of sports activities, including basketball, baseball, volleyball, softball, and track and field.
