Heading the staff at the Long Island Drum Center are Frank Colonnato and Greg Allen. Frank is a player/teacher who has authored a highly regarded snare drum instruction book, "Inner Rhythms" ( Hal Leonard Publications ). Greg is a player/teacher who also has an excellent command of drum repair and tech work, and an extensive knowledge of the entire percussion industry, both new and vintage. When you come in, ask him about his snare drum collection, which includes many one of a kind pieces. Both gentlemen have a combined forty years of drum retail experience and have been there to see every modern drum kit advance make its impact on the market.
