Perfect follow up to the Sam Patch Boat Tour that takes you through the lock! The tour departs Pittsford at 12, 2 and 4pm and takes about 20-30min to get to the lock. They have a great viewing...

I walk this part of the canal regularly from French Road as it's a great workout. Trail from Brighton to Pittsford is paved so great walking trail. Tons of people on it walking, running, biking....
